Information to Parents, Teachers, School Boards and students.

School Board approved Educational Tours
We specialize in small and medium size student group tours in Europe. Our tours are designed with emphasis on education and are quoted and organized to meet school board's approval.

Teachers/Chaperones travel free
For each 10 full paying student one free of charge place for Teacher/Chaperone is included in our tour prices. This means for each 11th, 22nd, 33rd etc passengers, 1 free place in half twin is granted.

Transportation
Where private bus transfers are included, these are effected between transportation terminals and hotels / restaurant / stations. In order to keep costs down, we have included short walks where possible.

Hotel Accommodation
We work with standard 3-star superior tourist class hotels, selected quality 2-star hotels and government owned student Hotels. All rooms have private facilities (toilet, bath/shower). Students are accommodated in Twins/Triples/Quads and Teachers and Chaperones are accommodated in Twins and Singles.

Meals
Daily house breakfast (usually continental) and standard 3-course-dinners (excluding drinks) are provided where mentioned in the itinerary. Dinners are served at the overnight hotels or at restaurants in walking distance to hotel. To keep costs down we suggest that groups arrange their own packed lunch / sandwiches wherever possible. On train rides for instance, it is much more economic to carry your own mineral water and sandwiches than to buy on the train.

Special Events
During special events (fairs, congresses etc.) hotel space may not be available in city center and will have to be booked outside. Should this happen on your tour you will be transferred by private bus at no additional cost for you.

Luggage
Porterage handling is not included in tour price. Travelling by train and walking short distances from station to hotels is not back-breaking as long as you travel with the right luggage. We recommed to use backpack or rolling suitcases for travel.

Documentation
Full documentation will be supplied to the head teacher on all teacher-escorted tours.

Self-guiding
As a teacher you are allowed to guide your class in all european cities, museums and monuments as long as you are able to identify yourself as the teacher. We do not mean that you do the guiding in big museums like the Louvre. However, there are several possibilities for self-guiding on every tour if this is requested. Teachers reported to us that they had made very good experiences on letting groups of students do self-guiding in team-work. (They learn much more when they have to prepare a visit and guide the class, than just listening to what a local guide says).
